Succinct Selling.
Powerful Tagline Copywriting.
Many businesses spend years creating the perfect business plan. Months designing the perfect website. Weeks developing the perfect logo.
Then they haphazardly spit out a tagline or slogan on a 5-minute coffee break.
Your tagline is your brand, your business, your image and your message all rolled into one three- to six-word phrase.
In just a couple of seconds, your logo and tagline combine to communicate who you are, what you stand for, who your audience is and how you will best serve your customers. Even more, your tagline copywriting can inspire, stir an emotion or move people to action.
Just Do It.
Finger Lickin’ Good.
Good to the last drop.
Think different.
When you read through every one of those taglines or slogans, you instantly know the company — even the ones that are decades old! But I bet, even beyond being able to place the company, those taglines conjured an image, an emotion, even a desire.
As a successful tagline copywriter, I always try to adhere to the following 3 goals:
- Your tagline should be specific. If you can use your tagline for other products or services, it’s too general.
- Your tagline should project a benefit. It should reveal (or at least hint at) a problem that your business will solve.
- Your tagline should stand out. Make sure it is unique in your industry.
Right now, there are a handful of words that when put together will help to perfect your message, your brand, your business. Let me help you find those elusive words.
